Trust Center

Built on trust.

A national score only matters if everyone trusts how it's computed, stored, and shared. This is our public commitment — and the receipts to back it up.

Our principles

  • Score integrity above growth. We will never bend the score to please a partner or close a deal.
  • Transparent methodology. The scoring formula, weights, and recalibration cadence are published openly.
  • Student-first data. Your data works for you, not the other way around.
  • Equal access. Every student gets the free tier, no exceptions, no dark patterns.
02

Compliance & certifications

  • SOC 2 Type II — annual audit, last completed March 2026.
  • ISO 27001 — certified since 2024.
  • DPDP Act 2023 compliant — India.
  • GDPR aligned for EU residents using the platform.

Audit reports are available under NDA — request via trust@qwish.in.

03

Sub-processors

We use the following sub-processors. We notify customers by email at least 30 days before adding a new one.

  • AWS — hosting and storage (Mumbai region)
  • Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, WAF
  • Postmark — transactional email
  • Sentry — error monitoring (scrubbed of PII)
  • Stripe — payments (Pro Student plan)
  • Razorpay — payments (institutional invoicing)
04

Scoring methodology

The Qwish Score is a 0–900 number derived from your performance across four base domains: Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Core CS, and Communication.

The model normalizes for:

  • Question difficulty (item response theory)
  • Time taken (capped to prevent fatigue penalties)
  • Consistency across sessions
  • Cohort-relative difficulty of the test instance

The model is recalibrated quarterly with external review by our Domain Calibration Council. The full mathematical specification is published in our methodology paper.

05

Uptime & reliability

We target 99.9% monthly uptime. Historical uptime over the last 12 months has been 99.96%. Live status is at status.qwish.in.

Incident transparency Every incident affecting more than 1% of users gets a public post-mortem within 5 working days, including root cause and corrective actions.
06

Fairness & bias

We audit the scoring model annually for disparate impact across gender, language of test-taking, region, and institution type. Findings are published in our annual transparency report. Where bias is found, we recalibrate and disclose the correction.

07

Governance

Qwish is governed by:

  • An independent Score Integrity Board of academics and industry experts who review methodology changes.
  • A Student Council of 12 elected students who provide feedback on every major feature.
  • Our internal Privacy & Security committee, which reviews every new sub-processor and major data flow.
